South City Kitchen Avalon
The popular restaurant South City Kitchen is opening its fourth location at Avalon in Alpharetta and is hiring for all positions. Open interviews are being held daily at The Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta through Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Register here in advance if you'd like, but walk-ins are also welcome.
Open positions include managers, servers, hosts, sous chefs, line and prep cooks, dishwashers, bartenders, support servers and food runners.
USIC
USIC, an underground utility locating company, is looking to fill full-time location technician positions throughout Cobb, Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Forsyth, Hall, Rockdale, Newton and Cherokee counties. A career fair will be held on Dec. 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express Marietta – Atlanta Northwest at 1250 Franklin Gateway SE.

Honeywell, which invents and manufactures technologies in the energy, safety and security industries, is hiring for many positions in Atlanta this December, according to GlassDoor.com.

3M specializes in a wide variety of products for businesses and consumers, and the company is making big hires in Atlanta as well as in some other locations, according to GlassDoor. Openings include positions for a program manager, performance data advisor, healthcare consulting manager and data analyst.
