Spring is a time for change and renewal, so why not start the season by looking for a new job this April? Metro Atlanta companies and other employers have a variety of openings, from summer recreation-based positions to engineering jobs.

Check out the following metro Atlanta companies that are making big hires this month:

Honeywell

Honeywell has several positions available nationwide, according to Clark.com, and many of them are in Atlanta.

As expected, you'll find many engineering jobs, as well as positions for a data scientist, human resource director and executive assistant. Several internships are also available. Check here for job openings and to apply.

Georgia Association of Colleges & Employers

Also known as GACE, the Georgia Association of Colleges & Employers allows you to contact many employers, including Emory University, Agnes Scott College and Georgia Tech, at a career fair on April 18. Over 160 employers from across the state will attend the fair, and you can pre-register in advance or register on site. The fair will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Cobb Galleria Centre.

You can also download an app via the Apple Store or Google Play that provides an up-to-date employer listing, preparation tips and an event map. Search for "GACE Stateside Career Fair" once you're in the app.

Regions Financial

The financial institution is also making big hires, and you'll find openings for positions such as mortgage loan originator and financial relationship specialists throughout the metro Atlanta area. Employees receive a comprehensive package of benefits including health, dental and vision insurance as well as disability coverage, a 401(k) plan and paid life insurance coverage.

City of Roswell

Summer is on the way, and the city of Roswell is looking to fill more than 200 positions in its Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department. The city's website says that many of the full-time employees got their start as summer employees.

You can apply if you're age 16 and up, and teachers, retirees and other adults are also encouraged to apply. You'll find positions open for camp counselors, swim coaches, dive coaches, a transportation coordinator and more. If you're interested, check here for a listing of open jobs and to apply.
