Lanier Islands Resort will be recruiting a number of seasonal and permanent workers in Gwinnett for the next three Saturdays, March 12, 19 and 26. The recruiting sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford.
Georgia Department of Labor staff will be on site to help screen the applicants. Lanier Islands Resorts is recruiting admissions clerks, bartenders, concession-stand operators, front-desk personnel, lifeguards, pool attendants, security guards, servers and retail associates among others.
Job seekers 16 and 17 years old must have a work permit to apply. Applicants should bring a resume, military identification card, a driver's license and dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs. While some positions require no experience, it is preferred for most positions. Salaries will depend on the position and will be discussed with the applicant during the interview process with the Lanier Islands Resorts.
