Chick-fil-A ranked highest for customer satisfaction among fast-food restaurants in Atlanta, according to J.D. Power and Associates. The group's 2010 U.S. Restaurant Satisfaction Study measured customer satisfaction for restaurant chains in 10 U.S. markets, judging them by price, service, the meal itself and the restaurant's ambiance, cleanliness and convenience. The study was based on responses from 93,410 customers of more than 100 major restaurant chains who dined at a restaurant between May and July 2010. There were 9,612 respondents in the Atlanta market.

Overall satisfaction in the 10 markets included in the study averaged 700 on a 1,000-point scale among fast-food customers. Chick-fil-A got a score of 801 and performed particularly well in Atlanta in three of the four factors: environment, meal and staff.

Chick-fil-A posted $1.5 billion in sales in the first six months of 2010, a 9.5 percent overall increase and a 3.75 percent increase at stores open at least one year.
