Atlantic Southeast Airlines strikes agreement with Vietnamese carrier

April 29, 2010

Atlanta-based Atlantic Southeast Airlines, a Delta Connection carrier, has struck an operational services agreement to help launch a Vietnamese start-up airline.

The agreement is for ASA to provide operational expertise and staff support, if necessary, for the launch of Air Mekong, according to ASA spokeswoman Kate Modolo.

ASA has long been a Delta Connection carrier, but ASA president Brad Holt has been in discussions with airlines for other partnerships. ASA earlier this year began flying for Chicago-based United Airlines, in addition to flying for Delta.
