The two women said they were returning home together Sept. 8 around 10 p.m. when a gunman approached them in the parking lot of their complex on Washington Road, got into the back seat of their vehicle and forced them to drive to an ATM along Camp Creek Parkway, according to police. The gunman then made the women drive back to the complex, where he raped both of them, police said.

Later that week, East Point police arrested Young on an outstanding warrant and identified him as the suspect in the assaults. He was booked into the Fulton County jail Sept. 15 on 21 charges related to the assaults, including

Young was also indicted in a separate case, when he allegedly took a Waffle House cash register after quitting his job there, according to a spokeswoman for Fulton County Superior Court.
