From the back of a room, where a press conference was being held, Alec Ogletree yelled, “Gooooooo, Dogs!”

At the front of the room, Todd Gurley looked up, smiled and picked it up from there: “’Sic ‘em! … Woof! Woof! Woof!”

This Georgia moment was brought to you during an NFL playoff week for the Los Angeles Rams.

Gurley and Ogletree, former Georgia standouts who now play for the Los Angeles Rams, are still basking in the Bulldogs' afterglow. They play their first playoff game against the Falcons Saturday night, but in both days since Georgia's 54-48 Rose Bowl win over Oklahoma Monday night, both could be seen wearing a Bulldogs' swag -- jersey, sweatshirt, hat.

Both players were on the sideline for the Bulldogs’ win that launched them into the national championship game against Oklahoma. Both are now on record with predictions for the Alabama game. No surprise who they’re picking.

Gurley: “We’re at home, man. We’re gonna get it done. I’m sorry, Bama. But you gotta lose back to back. Me and my Dogs are gonna win for sure.” (Reminder: Alabama lost the championship game to Clemson last season.)

From Ogletree, when asked if he sees Georgia winning: “Well, I sure don’t see us losing. … Georgia’s gonna win.”

Gurley said his throat was still sore from yelling so much at the game.

“I feel like I lost my voice in the game. I still don’t have it back yet,” he said. “At the game, I saw all the Georgia fans. I was kind of beefing with them just a little bit because we’re going to try to disappoint their Falcons this weekend.

“It was exciting. I went to the Super Bowl last year and I thought that was a great game. I was speechless -- I was too excited. I was happy for my boys.”

Ogletree said he never believed Georgia was out of the game, even when it trailed 31-17 “because of Oklahoma’s defense. Then they had that squib kick before halftime (that led to a Bulldogs field goal), and I couldn’t figure out why they did that because their guy was kicking them out of the end zone.”

Most are assuming Gurley and Ogletree will only be wearing Rams’ gear Saturday night. But it’s not a given.
