How the game was won: Woodward dominated the game after falling down 7-0, scoring four times in the second quarter. Woodward quarterback Ryan Glover accounted for five touchdowns, four passing (two to Jacob Robertson) and one rushing. Elijah Holyfield rushed for Woodward's other touchdown.
Top performers: Glover finished with 284 yards passing on just 11 completions (11 of 14), finding Robertson for touchdowns of 15 and 66 yards, both in the second quarter. Glover hit Stephen Elliott for a 32-yard touchdown in the third and Josh Johnson for a 93-yard score in the fourth. He rushed for a 21-yard score in the second. … Johnson led Woodward with 126 yards receiving on five catches, with Robertson getting 86 yards and Elliott 65 yards. … Holyfield rushed for 51 yards and a 1-yard score in the second quarter.
