How the game was won: When just a single score would have been enough, Wesleyan overwhelmed visiting Holy Innocents' with 21 points in the first quarter en route to a convincing shutout victory. The Wolves scored three times on the ground and with a 65-yard punt return by Harrison Cook. They racked up 334 yards of total offense to the Golden Bears' 195 yards.

Top performers: In addition to his punt return, Cook caught all seven of Banks Ramsey's completed passes, which went for 95 yards. ... Jordan Argilagos led Wesleyan with 18 carries for 180 yards and a touchdown. ... Ramsey and Drew Aspinwall added scoring runs for the Wolves.
