Two new faces that enter the rankings this week highlight Class AAAAAA. Harrison comes in at No. 9 after running a 17:30 at the 7th Alligator Lake XC Invitational in Lake City, Florida. This week's No. 10 team Pope has been lurking around the top ten all season and finally breaks through thanks to their 17:42 performance at the Gulf Coast XC Stampede in Pensacola, Florida.
Alexander is the new No. 1 team in Class AAAAA. The team ran an impressive time of 17:01 in Chattanooga, Tennessee this past weekend at the McCallie XC Invite. Starr’s Mill is the new No. 7 ranked team following their 18:01 performance at the Aubrae Gunderson Invitational in Conyers.
Perry is the lone newcomer in the Class AAAA rankings coming in at No. 10 after their time of 18:07 at The Rock Ranch Invitational in Yatesville. Tanner Reid won the individual event for the school with a time of 16:40.
The new No. 8 team in Class AAA is Savannah Arts who won the 4th Annual Stinger Invitational in Savannah with a time of 18:12. The team placed six runners in the top nine spots individually.
Benedictine returns to the rankings as the No. 10 ranked team in Class AA thanks to their second place finish at the 4th Annual Stinger Invitational (19:06).
Two newcomers in the Class A-Private rankings fill the bottom two spots in the top ten. Savannah Country Day placed fourth at the 4th Annual Stinger Invitational (19:48) allowing them to jump to No. 9, while Brookstone finished a respectable seventh at the Greenwave Cross Country Invitational in Columbus (19:52) to give them the No. 10 ranking.
Baconton Charter is the new No. 1 team in the Class A-Public rankings. Their time of 21:40 at the 16th Annual Bainbridge Bearcat Invitational is the fastest time in the classification this season.
