Freshman Nic Cassidy shot a 68 to give Johns Creek the Class AAAAAA championship on Monday in Tifton.

Cassidy’s low-medalist performance gave Johns Creek a 294 total and a two-shot win over defending champion Lambert. The Gladiators also county a 73 from Thomas Gerard, a 75 from Calum Ross and a 78 from Andy Mao.

Lambert got a 72 from Spencer Ball, who shot 33 on the back nine, as well as a 74 from Brett Barron and 75s from Grant Sutliff and Stephen Foernsler.

Hunter Fry of Dacula and Austin Fulton of Douglas County tied for second with 69s.

Class AAAAAA girls: The Lambert girls won their fourth straight state championship on Monday.  The Longhorns were led by sophomore Katie Owens, who medaled with a 73, Kayley Marschke with a 78 and Lauren Lightfritz with a 79.

Class AAAAA boys : Nolan Miller shot a 6-under 66 to help Columbus win the championship. Columbus shot a 282 and beat Lakeside Evans by 14. The Blue Devils also counted a 71 from Rudy Pearson, a 72 from Ben Carr and a 73 from Daniel Davis. Andrew Crockett of Starr's Mill shot 69 to finish second.

Class AAAAA girls: Carson Roberts shot a 76 to lead Dalton to the championship. The Catamounts shot a 241 and beat Columbus by six strokes. Julianna Collett of Glynn Academy was medalist with a 75.  Niquole Mangal of Lanier and Isabel Rijos of Northside Columbus also shot 76.

Class AAAA boys: The Marist boys rode medalist Will Chandler to their fifth straight state championship. Chandler shot a 70 and got help from teammates Jordan Secret (76), Harry White (78), Andrew Lafferty (79) and Jack Warren (80). Marist beat Woodward Academy by three shots. Sport Almond of Heritage Catoosa was second with a 71.

Class AAAA girls: Woodward Academy got a 76 from Ayanna Habeel and shot 235 to win the championship. The War Eagles were seven shots better than Marist. Rylie Marchman of Burke County was second with 77.

Class AAA boys: Westminster shot a 298 to take the team championship, beating Pierce County by six shots and Oconee County 10. Keller Harper of Westminster and Zac Thornton shot 68s to share medalist honors.

Class AAA girls: Calhoun defeated Blessed Trinity on the second playoff hole after the two tied at 257. Carrol Pyon of Rutland shot 76 for the day's low score. Hannah Jones of Blessed Trinity and Tori Owens of Murray County tied for second at 79.

Class AA boys: Greater Atlanta Christian scored its first boys golf championship with a 302, nine shots ahead of Pace Academy and 10 better than Lovett. GAC was led by N.C. State signee Ben Shipp, who shot 70, and Jonathan Waters, who shot 71; Shipp and Waters finished second and third. Tyler Lipscomb of Bremen snagged medalist honors with a 69.

Class AA girls: Mighty Vidalia won the state title for the fourth straight year and fifth time in six seasons. The Indians, led by Layne Carter's 70, shot a 148 and beat Wesleyan by four shots.  Elisa Yang of Wesleyan shot a 69 and was the medalist for the second straight year.

Class A Private boys: Brookstone won its 15th team championship with a 4-over 292, beating First Presbyterian by 10. Walker Hinds led the Cougars with a 71 and they also counted a 73 from Evans Copeland, and 74s from William Reaves and Frank Waldrep. The medalist was Strong Rock Christian's Logan Parkins with a 68. Jordan Long of Eagle's Landing Christian and Jake McWhorter of Mt. Paran Christian tied for second at 70.

Class A Private girls: Galloway used a 73 from medalist Amanda Doherty to win the title. The Scots shot a 162 and beat Mt. Pisgah Christian (171) and Stratford Academy (175). Lakeview Academy's Alexis Gopfert shot 78 and finished second.

Class A Public boys: Dawson Day shot a 73 to take medalist honors and lead Trion to an easy win. Trion shot a 341, which was 24 shots better than Schley County. Thad Clark of Schley County shot 78 and finished second.

Class A Public girls: Faith Reddick medaled with an 86 to lead Portal to the championship. Portal shot a 186, 11 shots ahead of Schley County. Kenzie Jenkins of Towns County finished second with a 93.
