Duluth is into the Class AAAAAA rankings at No. 9 after edging South Forsyth 1-0 last Tuesday. The Wildcats' only blemish is a tie against Class AAA No. 2 Blessed Trinity. They also beat North Gwinnett 3-1 last Friday.

Columbus and Alexander swapped places in the Class AAAA rankings after Columbus thrashed Alexander 5-1 last Friday. The Blue Devils returned one day later in a 2-0 shutout of Riverwood.

Lovett, which has a clean record aside from a tie against Grady (No. 5 in Class AAAA) and a 2-1 loss to Buford (No. 7 in Class AAA), maintained its perch atop the Class AA rankings with a 2-1 victory over Paideia last Saturday. Among the Lions’ challengers is fourth-ranked Wesleyan, whose difficult schedule saw it lose to Greater Atlanta Christian 2-1 on March 11 before getting the best of Northview (ninth in Class AAAAA) 1-0 on March 13.

Paideia persevered through an eventful week, with a 3-2 loss to Fellowship Christian last Tuesday and a 3-1 win over Pace Academy last Friday prior to its setback against Lovett. The Pythons slipped to No. 6 in the Class A rankings, one spot behind Calvary Day.
