How the game was won: Northgate led 14-0 after the first quarter and 40-0 at halftime before a running clock in the second half put visiting Woodland-Stockbridge out of its misery. The Vikings scored all seven of their touchdowns on their first seven possessions of the game--six during the first half and another right away to begin the third quarter. A dominant first half saw the home team win the total yardage battle 266 to 24.

Top performers: Northgate quarterback Kyle McLaren opening the scoring with a one-yard keeper and he closed the first half with a 35-yard touchdown strike to Kamari Ray. McLaren threw for 102 yards before halftime. ... Ton Evans scored on the ground from nine yards out and again from 15 yards away as he racked up 114 yards in the first half. ... Kyle Cater had touchdown runs of one yard and three yards for the Vikings.
