How the game was won: Lanier scored three times in the second quarter to help the visiting Longhorns jump out to a 28-0 halftime lead. Marko Baity opened scoring in the first quarter with his first of two touchdowns, a five-yard rushing score. Marcella Baity made it 28-0 with a five-yard score.

Top performers: Quarterback Tahj Tolbert had a 2-yard rushing score and 28 yards on the ground. … Marcella Baity led Lanier with 104 yards rushing on 18 carries, and Marko Baity had 62 yards on 14 carries. … The Longhorns had four interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown by Michael Allen.
