Kell 14, Forsyth Central 13

How the game was won: Forsyth Central battled back from a 14-0 fourth-quarter deficit against visiting Kell only to fall short in the final minute. The Bulldogs scored a touchdown with 35 seconds remaining to pull within 14-13, but they decided to play for the win instead of settling for overtime. An ensuing halfback pass on the two-point conversion was intercepted by Kell's Shamaar Bennett.

Top performers: The Longhorns opened the scoring in quarter two with a 22-yard touchdown strike from Stone Hatfield to Bryson Armstrong. ... Josiah Futral added to the visitors' lead in the third quarter with a three-yard touchdown run. Ivan Walls was a force in the return game all night long and took the opening kickoff of the second half to Forsyth Central's 40-yard line to set up Futral's touchdown.
