Last week: Beat Peach County 3-2. Dallas Goddin's 30-yard field goal in the third quarter gave Jackson the lead and ultimately the victory in only the 11th 3-2 game in GHSA history. Both teams had two touchdowns called back on penalties, and Jackson had a third stopped when it was ruled a receiver stepped out of bounds 20 yards short of the goal line. Both teams also missed two field-goal opportunities, including a 56-yarder by Peach County's Omar Cervantes at the end of the game. The victory gives Jackson control of its destiny in Region 2.
