The No. 3-ranked GAC Spartans handled No. 7 Pace Academy with relative ease, coming away with a 33-13 victory. No. 2 Fitzgerald was on a bye, so it's possible the Spartans move into the No. 2 spot, though that may not be likely.

Pace Academy, on the other hand, may fall out of the top 10 after starting the season 5-0, then dropping their last two games.

Top-ranked Benedictine rolled past Jeff Davis, 48-0. It was the Cadets' second shutout of the season.

No. 4 Wesleyan is still undefeated after beating B.E.S.T. Academy 10-8, but for the second week in a row the Wolves struggled against a lesser opponent. The previous week they edged Hapeville Charter, 13-7. They may hold on to their ranking, but it also wouldn't be surprised if they slipped.

No. 5 Rabun County ran up the score against Oglethorpe County in a 60-12 win. Until Friday, the Wildcats hadn't allowed an opponent to score since Sept. 4, pitching three consecutive shutouts.

No. 6 Darlington beat Dade County, 21-10. No. 8 Jefferson County continues its impressive run with a 48-3 win over Metter. No. 9 Union County beat Greene County, 49-28. No. 10 Brooks County shutout Seminole County, 34-0.
