GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.

Jamie Abrams, Lamar County

1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "The most memorable game I've been a part of as a coach would be a 2004 Alabama semifinal win over Clay County when I was an assistant at Woodland (Ala.). They were in our region and had beaten us 47-6 in the regular season. We met them again in the semifinals, and no one gave us a chance. We went for two in the second overtime and beat them 21-20 to advance to the state championship."

2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "That is a very tough question. I have three sons ages 6, 23 months and 8 months. I have had the fortune to work with and be around some great coaches. I would love for my sons to be able to play for a number of guys who I have worked with. Franklin Stephens of Ware County, Tim Glanton of Kennesaw State, Roger Holmes of Dublin and Larry Strain of Handley, Ala., are all guys I have worked for who I wouldn't hesitate to let my sons play for."

3. What is your pet peeve as a coach or favorite saying/motto? "My favorite saying is 'We don't have to; we get to.'"

4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "The GHSA policy I would like to see changed is the quarters-per-week rule. I would like for special teams plays not to count against a player who also plays JV as far as the number of quarters he is allowed during the week."
