GHSF Daily asked Georgia head coaches to answer these four questions. We'll report from a different head coach each day.
Morris Starr, Henry County
1. What is the most memorable game you've been a part of as a player or coach? "When I was the head coach at Tri-Cities in 2006 and we played East Coweta for our homecoming. It was the only game my mom was able to witness me coach. We were losing 35-7 at halftime and came back to win the game 49-42."
2. Which high school coach would you want your son to play for, and why? "I am lucky that my son is playing for the coach that he has, Coach Mike Palmieri at Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, N.C."
3. What is your pet peeve as a coach? "My pet peeve is athletes making excuses rather than making a way."
4. Which GHSA policy or high school football rule would you most like to see changed? "I think the rules are fine the way that they are. I'm just glad that it's still tackle football!"
