St. Pius senior guard Asia Durr has been named the Gatorade girls basketball player of the year in Georgia for the second straight year.

Durr is the first player since Maya Moore of Collins Hill (2006-07) to win the award in back-to-back seasons.

Durr averaged 33.3 points per game with 6.4 rebounds. St. Pius was 27-4 and reached the Class AAAA quarterfinals with a 27-4 record.

Durr scored 2,764 points in her career and led St. Pius to state titles in 2013 and 2014. She has signed with Louisville.

Durr has also been a member of the Team USA U16 and U17 teams the past two summers. She was the MVP of the 2013 FIBA Americas Cup Tournament and also captured the gold medal in the event. Durr also won a gold medal with the U17 national team at the 2014 FIBA World Championships in the Czech Republic.
