Three of the longest streaks of winning region championships are likely to come to an end this season. Camden County, a region champion each season from 2001 to 2013, is already out of contention this year in Region 1-AAAAAA. Losses last week by Carver of Columbus (2007-13) and Sandy Creek (2008-13) put those teams in dire straits, as well. Here are schools that have won five consecutive GHSA region titles. Note that Calhoun can move into second place all alone this season.
