Archer's game against No. 3 Grayson will be the Tigers' fifth against a top-five team and sixth against a top-10 team in Class AAAAAAA. Archer has played and lost to No. 1 Roswell, No. 2 Mill Creek, No. 4 McEachern and No. 5 Norcross. Archer defeated then-No. 8 Peachtree Ridge in August. Archer is the seventh team in history, and first since 1997, to face five top-five teams in one regular season in August. The Tigers are the 26th to face six top-10 teams in the regular season and could become the fifth to play seven top-10 teams if South Gwinnett (5-2) makes it back into the rankings by their game Oct. 28.
