The Air Force Academy must love Georgia high school football. Of the Falcons' 114 active players this season, 20 are from Georgia. There also are 15 Georgia players at Navy, which has an active roster of 185. There are more than 50 former Georgia high school players on rosters of U.S. service academies this fall. Scout.com reports only one current Georgia player committed to a service academy. That is defensive end Ford Higgins of Greater Atlanta Christian, who plans to attend Navy. Surely, more will follow.
