When Wesleyan lost to GAC on Friday, that created a three-way tie in Region 6 between the Wolves, Pace Academy and Lovett. On Saturday morning at Holy Innocents, a coin flip between the three teams took place to determine playoff seeds 2-4 for the region.

GAC's victory over Wesleyan gave the Spartans the No. 1 seed.

As a result of the coin flip, Lovett is the No. 2 seed, Wesleyan is the No. 3 seed and Pace is the No. 4 seed, Pace coach Chris Slade told AJC.com on Saturday.

Though the Lions earned the highest seed, perhaps they are the unluckiest. Assuming they win their first-round matchup at home against Region 7, No. 3 seed Chattooga, they'll have to travel to Savannah to play the state's No. 1 team - Benedictine - in the second round. That's assuming Benedictine wins its first-round matchup at home against Region 3, No. 4 seed Metter (SPOILER ALERT: The Cadets will win).

With the No. 3 seed, Wesleyan travels to play Model, the No. 2 seed from Region 7. No. 4 seed Pace travels to play Darlington, the undefeated region champs from Region 7.
