The Atlanta Public Schools Board of Education votes today on proposals to close and consolidate several schools. That will be a highly watched vote, and one likely upset some of the affected communities.

In this video interview with me, the fourth in a series of nine segments, APS Superintendent Meria Carstarphen discusses the problems facing the district and how they consume her time.  She addresses the negative tone toward public education in America.
