1. Georgia Tech scrimmaged Saturday morning, with mixed results. First-team offense met Johnson's satisfactions, other groups did not .

2. B-back Dedrick Mills, linebacker Terrell Lewis and A-back Nathan Cottrell shared their thoughts on spring practice, including how Cottrell feels after his 2015 ACL tear and who Lewis sees as the most improved players at his position.

3. The rules changes that have cleared the way for an early signing period in football didn't quite please Paul Johnson. He found one aspect of it "ridiculous."

4. The Jackets are not deep at offensive tackle , but there's some hope that incoming freshmen can be ready to play.
