As Georgia Tech men's basketball coach Josh Pastner rolls through scouting reports on each scholarship player on this team, one thing continues to pop up: points.

The team has to be smart in its shot selection because there isn't a go-to scorer.

The second thing is the players need to give total effort in everything from rebounding, to avoiding turnovers, to taking good shots.

The margin of error for earning wins will be very small.

Coach Josh Pastner's take: Bottom line is he's got to make shots. If he doesn't make shots he doesn't help us. He's got to put the ball in the basket. There's no other way to put it. If he's not making shots he'll be sitting with me all year long.
