Free on-field movie screening at Bobby Dodd

July 17, 2014

Georgia Tech will host its second “Dodd After Dark” movie screening Friday night at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Fans are invited to throw down a blanket on the Grant Field turf and watch on the stadium video board.

The series (“Muppets Most Wanted” was shown last week) was part of an attempt to add value to season tickets to spur sales and renewals. The ticket office has also included bonuses like a scrimmage open only to season ticket holders.

A fireworks display will follow the movie.

The movie begins at 8 p.m. Season ticket holders can be admitted at 7 p.m., followed by the general public at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free. Free parking is available at Peters Parking Deck as well as the McCamish Pavilion and O’Keefe Gym lots. Non-metered street parking is also available after 5 p.m.
