5 things to know about the Falcons on Monday

Here are five things to know about the Falcons on Monday:

1. Ryan's charity golf tournament is set. All-Pro quarterback Matt Ryan's charity golf tournament is set for today at the TPC Sugarloaf.

2. Exhibition schedule to be released today. The NFL will release its exhibition schedule at 5 p.m. Today. The NFL will release its regular season schedule between April 17-21.

3. Mercedes-Benz Stadium timeline delayed. Falcons officials, who said March 29 they would update the construction schedule for Mercedes-Benz Stadium within seven to 10 days, now say it will take a while longer to assess the timeline.

4. Trufant on his new deal. Desmond Trufant has never forgotten his roots. The football product from the small-town of Tacoma, Washington, agreed to a five-year, $69 million contract extension with the Falcons on Saturday.
