Who would you rather have this week and going into next season, Blake Bortles or Matt Ryan? The AJC’s D. Orlando Ledbetter joins CineSport’s Noah Coslov to answer that question. (Blake Bortles has 30 TD passes and 13 interceptions. Matt Ryan has 17 touchdowns passes and 14 interceptions).

FLOWERY BRANCH — Here are the five things you need to know on Wednesday about the Falcons (6-7), who play at Jacksonville (5-8) at 1 p.m. Sunday at EverBank Field. The Falcons have dropped six straight and seven of the past eight games.

1. PRACTICE: Falcons coach Dan Quinn will address the media at 12:05 p.m. After an open media session, the Falcons will practice at 1:05 p.m.

2. RYAN SPEAKS: Quarterback Matt Ryan will hold his press session after practice. Someone will certainly ask him about getting booed at the Hawks game on Monday night.

3. COVER 9@9:  Check back here at 9 a.m. for the Cover 9@9 blog that drops every Wednesday at 9 a.m. With the season falling apart, the Falcons will need to start looking more closely at some of the younger players on the roster. We give you five young players to evaluate.

4. PLAYOFFS OPPS: The Falcons have a 2.9 percent chance of making the playoffs.

5. SERIES RECORD: This will be the sixth regular-season meeting with Jacksonville. The Jaguars hold a 3-2 advantage. The Falcons won the last meeting, 41-14 on Dec. 15, 2011 at the Georgia Dome. The Jaguars won the last meeting in Jacksonville, 13-7, on Sept. 9, 2007.
