FLOWERY BRANCH -- Here are five things you need to know Tuesday about the Falcons (6-4), who host the Minnesota Vikings (7-3) at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

1. PRACTICE. The Falcons are off today.
2. MATT RYAN SHOW. 680 The Fan has a ratings bonanza now. They get Matt Ryan on Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. a full day before he speaks to the media. Perhaps he'll have some more insight to his 13 turnovers this season.
3. THE SERIES. This will be the 27th regular season meeting between the Falcons and the Vikings. The Vikings hold a 16-10 lead. They pounded the Falcons, 41-28 in Minneapolis last season. Of course, the greatest victory in Falcons history was in the 1998 NFC championship over the Vikings in overtime. The victory sent the Falcons their first and only Super Bowl.
4. FULLBACK POWER: Falcons fullback Pat DiMarco said that was his first two-touchdown game on any level of football. He then went through his pee-wee, high school and college positions.
5. KNEE PROBLEM: Does Matt Ryan have a knee problem? He's wearing a brace on his left knee. Maybe just for support? The brace may explain some of his footwork issues and sailing some throws because he can't plant his left foot.
