Here are 5 questions with Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s D. Orlando Ledbetter:

Q: How does it feel to be closing in on another 1,000 yard season?

A: Who me? I don't look at that stuff. It's still good, but I've left a lot of plays out there on the field. So, if I'm close to a 1,000 that's good. That's really good because I've left a lot of plays out there on the field.

Q: Any thoughts on Roddy closing in on 10,000 yards?

A: That's a lot of work. Since he's been in the league, he hasn't missed (many) games. Hopefully, one day I'll get there. Roddy is a great receiver.

Q: How will he do as a captain?

A: He'll do great. I don't have any question about Roddy's leadership skills. He leads us at practice. He brings guys along. He picks guys up with his energy. He does everything.

Q: What are your thoughts on Carolina’s secondary? Matt Ryan said they are better than their numbers suggest.

A: Yeah, they are.

Q: Who stands out?

A: They have Thomas (DeCoud) over there and he has a lot of range. They have some good cover guys. A lot of people don't respect them, but you have to respect those guys.
