The Falcons signed center/guard Cornelius Edison and waived wide receiver Reginald Davis III on Wednesday.

Edison, who's 6-foot-3 and 309 pounds, played at Portland State and was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent after the 2015 draft.

Davis finished his collegiate career with Texas Tech by playing in all 12 games as a senior, with two starts. He finished the season with 15 receptions for 247 yards and two touchdowns. He also was a return specialist for Texas Tech, returning 14 kickoffs for 272 yards, for an average of 19.4 yards per attempt.
