5 questions with Alvin 'Bud' Dupree

Q: What is it that you like about Aldon Smith?

A: I just like how he turned the corner and how he uses his speed a lot. … He's an athletic guy, a guy that I see myself being like.

Q: You played in a 3 point stance and standing up. Would they allow you to do both sets? If a 4-3 team wants you to play DE, are you OK with that?

A: I think they've got me at linebacker because they've seen me do the 3 point stance … I've got a lot of film in the 3-point stance

and standing up. I think any team can see that I can play both positions.

Q: How comfortable are you dropping back into coverage?

A: I'm very comfortable. I got more comfortable this year by doing it a lot at practice, covering the slot.

Q: Did you do it more so this past year?

A: Yes. I played inside linebacker from my sophomore year to my senior year.

Q: What’s your optimal playing weight?

A: I played at 260-265. Even though I don't look that big, my frame is athletic.
