We'll focus on team-needs, possible selections, players the Falcons have worked out and/or interviewed, etc. The Falcons own 10 picks in this draft. Today we'll look at Montana outside linebacker Jordan Tripp, who visited the Falcons in April.
Player: Jordan Tripp
Position: Outside linebacker
School: Montana
Height and weight: 6-3, 234

Combine Numbers: He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds, vertical 37 1/2 inches, broad jump of 10 feet, 3.96 short shuttle and 6.89 three-cone drill.
Projected Round: He's projected to be drafted in the third or fourth round by NFLDraftscout.com.
Career Highlights: Started 13 games at weakside linebacker and had more than 100 tackles and three interceptions last season. Overall, he started 25 of his 40 games and made 335 total tackles. His 10 career fumble recoveries are a school record. His father and grandfather also player for the Grizzlies. He participated in the East-West Shrine game and the Senior Bowl.
Quotes: "(The Senior Bowl) was an opportunity to get the chance to show teams that I'm this type of caliber player and can play at that level. I know that I can play and compete at that level. To have that opportunity (to show them) was extremely a blessing ….So to have that opportunity to go out there in front of GM's, head coaches, linebacker coaches to show that you can compete and (succeed) at that level (was) absolutely phenomenal."
Falcons level on interest: Moderate. The Falcons were able to find two undrafted linebackers in Joplo Bartu and Paul Worrilow last season. They need depth at the position and are looking for linebackers who are strong in run support and fluid in coverage.
