Amari Cooper shines at Alabama's Pro Day

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – All 32 teams and two general managers were on hand for Alabama's Pro Day workouts which featured 18 players, including prospective first-round picks in wide receiver Amari Cooper and safety Landon Collins.

Cooper ran routes for quarterback Blake Sims and talked about his 40-yard dash form the combine. He was clocked at 4.42 seconds, while West Virginia’s Kevin White ran a 4.35.

Cooper is battling White to become the first wide receiver taken in the draft.

Sims, of Gainesville, also ran routes as a running backs from several NFL teams.

In addition to Cooper, Collins and Sims,  draft-eligible players that participated in the day’s events included: Leon Brown,  Trey DePriest, Xzavier Dickson, Jalston Fowler, Brandon Ivory, Christion Jones, Arie Kouandjio, Anthony Orr, Nick Perry, Austin Shepherd, Brian Vogler, DeAndrew White, Jarrick Williams and T.J. Yeldon.
