D’haquille Williams is back with Auburn after a five-day suspension.

Following a five-day suspension for unknown “disciplinary reasons”, Auburn receiver D’haquille “Duke” Williams has been reinstated. Tigers coach Gus Malzahn made the announcement following Thursday’s practice.

AL.com's Brandon Marcello provides more updates on Williams from Malzahn's Thursday meeting with reporters. Williams will return at the bottom of Auburn's depth chart at receiver despite leading the team with 45 catches for 730 yards.

It’s unclear what Williams did get suspended, but Malzahn said Williams showed remorse for his actions.

Here’s Malzahn discussing Williams’ reinstatement:

The suspension is just the latest of troubles for Williams, who enrolled at Auburn last year from Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C. He's overcome a lot – including the murder of his cousin – to get to where he is today, so this week's setback is, hopefully for him, a minor one.

If not, he may be running out of chances at Auburn.
