Every so often, Twitter will provide us with something that makes the world just a bit dumber, but all the more entertaining.
Saturday offered up one of those occasions.
Florida Gator defensive back Vernon Hargreaves III and receiver Latroy Pittman are used to going head to head on the field, but their recent Twitter battle over the recently-released movie “Minions” was one for the ages.
Having just seen the movie, I can say that Hargreaves really isn’t missing anything. Nevertheless, the star defender appears a little upset that Pittman didn’t ask him out to the movies.
One look at the hashtags in Pittman’s final tweet is enough to know that the two will probably make it out of this with their “bromance” intact, which is probably the best outcome for both parties.
