Georgia’s No. 1 for 2016, Derrick Brown (AJC/Michael Carvell)
The state’s No. 1 overall prospect has revealed where he will take his five official visits.
And UGA has made the cut.
Derrick Brown, a 5-star defensive tackle from Lanier High School, tweeted out his list of winners on Saturday.
The lucky five of Alabama, UGA, Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi State.
UGA is considered to be the school to beat for Brown, who publicly named the Bulldogs as his leader during the spring. At one point, there were rumors floating that Brown had "secretly committed" to UGA. He denied the rumors, later saying that he didn't have a leader.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder will commit around February’s signing day.
