Rashan Gary (247Sports)
The nation’s No. 1 prospect will visit UGA next weekend.
Rashan Gary, a 5-star defensive tackle from Paramus, N.J., will attend UGA’s Dawg Night prospect camp on July 18.
Gary, who is currently attending “The Opening” all-star competition in Oregon at Nike headquarters, told a group of reporters that he will visit UGA, Ole Miss, LSU, Alabama and Auburn this month.
The 6-foot-4, 311-pounder, who attends New Jersey’s Paramus Catholic, has 30 offers.
UGA currently has two defensive line commits in this year’s class, which includes McEachern’s Julian Rochester and Americus Sumter County’s Tyler Clark. UGA is also rumored to be the front runners to land the state’s best prospect: Lanier DT Derrick Brown.
