They’re still orange and white (for the most part), but Nike has stamped its brand on Tennessee’s football uniforms.

Gone are the adidas uniforms.

Nike and its familiar swoosh, is in, thanks an eight-year deal with the school.

"We wanted to make sure that we were innovative, that we stay up with the times, but we really respect the great tradition we have at the University of Tennessee," football coach Butch Jones said during the reveal, as reported by The Tennessean.

Tennessee's deal with Nike won't pay as much as its adidas contract, which paid Tennessee $1.95 in base compensation for each of the past five years, the Knoxville News-Sentinel reported.

"In the first four years of the eight-year deal announced in January of 2014, Nike will pay UT $1 million per year. In years 5-8, the Vols will get less than half what they were making from adidas — $900,000 per year."

The new look provides a "timeless yet progressive look to one of the nations premier athletics programs of intercollegiate athletics," it states on the athletic program's website that includes a photo of the new Nike uniforms from several sports.
