UGA’s Mark Richt (AJC)

Garrett Walston, who may be UGA's top target at tight end for this year's class, visited with the Bulldogs over the weekend.

And that's a pretty big deal because the 3-star from Wilmington, N.C., told 247sports.com's Kipp Adams that he has narrowed down to North Carolina and UGA.

And he will likely decide in the next few days.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder was originally going to commit last month, but postponed his decision to visits his finalists. N.C. State was considered to be the school to beat at that time.

UGA was also high on Rabun County's Charlie Woerner at tight end, but Weorner prefers to play receiver in college. UGA is now recruiting Woerner at receiver, and is considered one of his leaders, along with Alabama and Clemson. The state's No. 1 prospect at tight end, former Buford standout Isaac Nauta, has committed to Florida State.
