South Carolina signed 10 players from Georgia this past year as part of a 30-member recruiting class.
Two of the 10 Georgians are still waiting to qualify academically, per GoGamecocks.com's Dwayne McLemore.
Octavious Johnson, a 3-star cornerback out of Clinch County, still has a chance to make it to South Carolina but will go to prep school if he can't, according to the website.
Meanwhile, Devante Covington is a 3-star defensive end who is trying to finish up his work at Georgia Military junior college in time to enroll at South Carolina by August. Covington has signed with the Gamecocks twice.
