Running backs appear to be making their way back to the top of the Heisman Trophy talk.

Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott, who dominated the postseason last year, is the early favorite to win the little bronze man, according to Bovada.lv, but LSU's Leonard Fournette and Georgia's Nick Chubb are among the top four.

Mississippi State’s Dak Prescott is the only QB among the early favorites.

Elliott is at 6-1, followed by Fournette at 15-2.

Prescott, Chubb and TCU QB Trevone Boykin are all at 8-1.

Alabama’s Mark Ingram, in 2009, is the only running back to win the Heisman since Ron Dayne in 1999 as QBs have won 13 of the past 14.

New Florida State QB Everett Golson is at 14-1 and Alabama RB Derrick Henry is at 16-1.

Clemson QB Deshaun Watson and Auburn QB Jeremy Johnson are in a group of four players at 20-1.

Georgia Tech QB Justin Thomas is at 33-1.

Here are the early odds:

Ezekiel Elliott, Ohio State, 6-1

Leonard Fournette, LSU, 15-2
