It appears that UGA will have to wait until after the season to get an unofficial visit from Jaylen Brown, the nation's No. 2 overall prospect.

UGA had hoped the 6-foot-7 forward from Wheeler High School would visit for a home game this season, but there have been a few scheduling conflicts.
UGA’s last home is at 9 p.m. Tuesday against Kentucky — which is considered to be a frontrunner for the 5-star recruit. But Brown’s mother told the AJC that he was unlikely to make it due to schoolwork and practice for Wheeler’s state championship game this weekend.
“I’m not sure,” she said. “During the week, it might be a little tough with school and practice.”
Brown leads Wheeler (29-2) into Saturday’s Class AAAAAA state championship game against Pebblebrook. He scored 29 points in last weekend’s semifinals win over Tucker.
What’s the latest with Brown’s recruiting? He has put recruiting on the backburner during his senior season.
Brown has taken official visits to Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina and UCLA. He has tentatively scheduled his fifth official for Michigan.
What about UGA and Georgia Tech? Brown has said he will try to take unofficial visits to both schools. He was supposed to go to UGA a couple of months ago, but had to postpone in order to leave with his high school team for a holiday tournament.
Brown, who is a finalist for the Naismith National High School Player of the Year award, could announce his college decision at next month’s McDonald’s All-America game.
