Gladiators honor Atlanta Flames with new jerseys

The jerseys will be red with white and yellow trim, like the Flames wore. The Gladiators’ logo on the front chest will incorporate flames as part of the design as well. The jerseys will be worn at all home games this season, except for Sundays, when the team will wear its traditional black uniforms.

“We wanted to create something that was decidedly ‘Gladiator’, with a nod to the fact that Atlanta has such a significant history within our sport,” explained Christi Johnson, director of media, game operations and merchandising. “What better way than to embrace the retro feel of the old Flames color scheme? The unmistakable hues of the jersey resonate with a lot of people in metro Atlanta.”
