Sunday’s warmth is expected to continue throughout the early part of the week.
Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said only a few clouds will filter the sunshine and the Atlanta area can expect to feel 70 degrees before the day is over.
This winter has been remarkably warm, Monahan said, with fewer days below freezing than last year.
“It hasn’t felt like winter in a really long time,” Monahan said.
