Temperatures are falling and will stay in the 40s overnight, meteorologists said.
Clouds arrived Wednesday afternoon ahead of a cold front, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said. That brings a slight chance for showers in North Georgia.
Currently, the temperature is 52 degrees in Atlanta. The city didn’t hit the average high of 64 for this time of year, Channel 2 reported.

“Warmer air arrives (Thursday),” Channel 2 meteorologist Karen Minton said.
Atlanta is expected to reach a high of 66 Thursday, 65 Friday and 66 Saturday.
Then, cooler air returns Sunday and stays for the start of Thanksgiving week, according to the latest forecast.
