Gwinnett County school district officials said Tuesday morning they are monitoring weather reports, but don’t plan to end classes early or postpone any after-school activities.

Morning flurries were reported in northwest Georgia and in Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Some Gwinnett students and others were using the Twitter hashtag #closegwinnett to plead that the district end classes early Tuesday.

Multiple Georgia school districts and government offices announced delays and closings ahead of the snow. None of them, so far, were in the metro area.
