The sunshine warm temps you enjoyed today could be gone this weekend.

Rain chances this weekend could lower temps into the 20s, according to Channel 2 Action News.

A 30 percent chance of rain is expected Friday, bringing near freezing temps in the metro area.

It was breezy, with clear blue skies and not a raindrop in sight, but metro Atlanta barely hit the 70s.

Current temps are 62 degrees in Atlanta, 57 in Blairsville and 58 in Griffin.

Despite a streak of warm days, pollen is down slightly from 155 to 123 particles per cubic meter of air Wednesday, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.

The count was 104 this time last year. Last year’s season high was 4,107.
